Compression Stuff Sack

This compression stuff sack has 6 nylon straps for compression. (Some variations of this stuff sack have 9 compression straps). All components of the sleep system will fit into this compression sack, and can be compressed down to 1 cubic foot.

The compression stuff sack is a component of the US Military's Modular Sleep System, that allows all components of the sleep system to be compressed down to approximately 12" x 12".  There are two variations of the stuff sack: one with 6 compression straps, and one with 9 compression straps (including 3 lateral compression straps).  The lateral compression straps would come in handy if you want to attach the sleep system to the bottom of your backpack.

Item Condition

These stuff sacks have been previously used and issued by the military, and as a result will show some signs of wear including possibly dirt, tape, writing or slight fraying of the fabric.  All buckles and the barrel lock will be functional.  Overall these stuff sacks are in great shape and will work well for their intended purposes.
